Write down your timing.Think about your preferred moving date, flexibility and whether another purchase is part of the plan.List improvements and known issues.Gather notes about updates, repairs, warranties and anything a buyer may need to understand.Gather the property details.If applicable, locate HOA information and solar, equipment or other property-related agreements to review.Walk through with fresh eyes.Notice clutter, lighting and small repairs. Discuss which preparation steps make sense before spending.Discuss price and potential proceeds.Ask Monique to review comparable homes and estimated costs using your property’s details.Make a showing plan.Think about pets, work schedules and access. Discuss a plan before the property is marketed.

Check your everyday route.Consider the places you travel to regularly. Explore the route at the times you expect to use it.Look at the layout.Notice storage, room access, natural light and whether the spaces work for your needs.Ask what is included.Clarify appliances and any leased equipment, solar arrangements or other items requiring review.Understand the full monthly picture.Ask about HOA dues and property costs, and review financing estimates with your lender.Write down what needs a closer look.Note property questions for appropriate inspections and document review. A tour does not replace an inspection.Compare it with your original priorities.Record your must-haves, compromises and unanswered questions before moving to the next property.
